This work emerges from an intuitive and experimental process, where the chickens dissolve into soft, abstracted forms, almost like fleeting impressions rather than fixed figures. The composition balances between figuration and memory, allowing space for interpretation and emotional resonance. The image recalls a familiar rural scene: chickens gathered along a fence, a quiet and almost meditative moment suspended in time. It is a position they naturally seek, a simple gesture of rest that becomes, in memory, something poetic. Rooted in my childhood, this work reflects on the experience of observing such scenes, on stillness, repetition, and the unnoticed beauty of everyday life.
My practice often returns to these memories as a way of preserving a sense of place, family, and belonging — something far deeper than documentation, closer to feeling.
