Size: 20 × 16.5 inches In this work, I painted six Silkie chickens for the first time, exploring new techniques and approaches. I was drawn to their soft, delicate presence — they feel less like ordinary chickens and more like gentle, almost sculptural beings. Their form, texture, and quiet character became a strong source of inspiration for me. This piece reflects my fascination with their unique beauty and my desire to capture something tender and alive. It was a new experience in my practice, and one I truly enjoyed. I hope these soft, feathery creatures bring a sense of warmth and calm to the space of their new home.
