A Lot Going On
11.5 × 10.5 inches (29 × 24 cm)
Watercolour and ink on paper. A lively gathering of chickens, each with its own shape, character, and direction. Some stand alone, others cluster together, creating a busy little world full of movement and personality. I love observing chickens and the endless variety of their gestures and expressions. In this original watercolour and ink painting, I wanted to capture that sense of activity without trying to make everything too orderly. An original chicken painting for collectors who love birds, farmyard life, expressive watercolour, and artwork with a playful sense of character.
