This piece began on wet paper, allowing the pigments to flow softly before I returned to add details once it had dried. The wings were my favourite part to paint — delicate, transparent, and full of light, even though they require patience and precision.
The bee hovers gently, moving from flower to flower, gathering nectar. It is a simple moment, yet one that reflects the quiet work that sustains our world.
