Chicken No. 1 is one of my favourite subjects to paint in watercolour. This piece is created using a combination of ink and watercolour on wet paper, which allows the colours to blend softly and the forms to emerge naturally. The technique captures the gentle movement, subtle textures, and quiet charm of the chicken, highlighting both its personality and presence.
