Created on red Japanese paper with a rich, textile-like texture, this piece is painted from the reverse side, revealing subtle fibre-like veins on the front surface that give the work depth and material presence. This technique is my own discovery, making the process and composition entirely experimental. The elongated format enhances movement and rhythm, blending traditional imagery with a contemporary approach. A bold exploration of watercolour that transforms conventional expectations.
