A plein air sketch painted in Jamaica. Some pelicans float quietly on the water while others circle above, hunting for fish. Sitting by the shore, I was drawn to this simple tropical scene — the sea, the palms, an old weathered shop, and these wonderfully awkward yet charming birds.
