Rooster No. 2 is part of my ongoing exploration of chickens, one of my favourite subjects to paint in watercolour. This piece is created using a combination of ink and watercolour on wet paper, which allows the colours to flow naturally and the forms to emerge with softness and subtle texture.

Through this technique, I aimed to capture the lively presence and character of the rooster, highlighting both its vibrant energy and quiet charm. Painting chickens brings me joy and offers a way to convey positivity and a gentle sense of nature to those who view my work.
