I never get tired of watching chickens at feeding time. They gather around a bowl, almost forming a perfect circle. Some step closer, some stay just outside it, while others quietly find their own place. Every meal creates a different arrangement. This painting grew from one of those everyday moments that lasted only a few minutes but stayed with me long after.
