This piece was born from my experience of city life in Toronto. Birds have always been a dominant theme in my work — this time I focused on doves, which symbolize love, purity, and calm. I used to paint chickens frequently, so birds remain an important part of my artistic language, now placed in a new urban context. The composition features eight doves, each painted in watercolor on high-quality watercolour paper. Each bird is painted individually, yet together they form a harmonious group.
